Will The True Feminists Please Stand Up.....The Rest Of You, Take Your Masks Off....

A true feminist believes in women and everything that is good for women. They believe things like: a woman should have the right to vote. A woman should have the right to work out of the home. A woman should have the right to speak her mind. A woman should be equal to men in all aspects.

A true feminist:
-Does not believe a woman should have the right to kill her child.
-Understands that real women, nurture, love and protect their children.
-Knows and acknowledges that abortion, not only kills an innocent human being; it also hurts women.

*As discussed in my Planned Parenthood post, women suffer from physical complications and mental disorders due to abortion.

To the so-called feminists who argue that women should have the right to abort due to rape and incest: You’re WRONG.

First of all, statistics show that abortions due to rape and incest cover 1% of all abortions.
http://www.abortionno.org/Resources/fastfacts.html
It is extremely rare that a pregnancy even comes from either of those circumstances.
The following is an article from http://www.truthtv.org/women/sexual-assault/pregnancy-as-a-result-of-rape/ that supports this fact:

Pregancy from rape is rare

This may be because :
· Many women are infertile at the time they are raped - they may be in the infertile phase of their monthly cycle, too old or too young to conceive.
· Trauma from the rape may bring into play some natural defence mechanisms that reduce the likelihood of pregnancy, such as hormonal change and spasms of the fallopian tubes which inhibit ovulation or fertilisation.
· Rape does not always involve a complete act of sexual intercourse - ejaculation may not occur - or the rapist may be infertile.
· The chance of conception resulting from a single act of unprotected intercourse even between consenting fertile individuals has been estimated at only 2 to 4%.

(Great information and statistics in the above article.)
Secondly, even if a woman does get pregnant due to rape or incest, that still doesn’t give her the right to kill an innocent human being. But wait a minute, despite what the abortion companies and pro-choice individuals want us to believe, here are some interesting FACTS:

“The Elliot Institute found 73 percent of rape victims chose to give birth to their babies.” ~ http://www.truthtv.org/women/sexual-assault/pregnancy-as-a-result-of-rape/

“In 1981, Dr. Sandra Makhorn conducted a major research of pregnant rape victims in the USA. Of the 37 women, 75 - 85% choose to give life to their children.
Pregnancy and Sexual Assault, New Perspectives on Human Abortion. Makhorn. 1981”~ http://www.truthtv.org/women/sexual-assault/pregnancy-as-a-result-of-rape/

So, “feminists”: where does that leave one of your strongest arguments now? In the toilet…(flush)

In the case of abortion a baby is being held accountable for SOMEONE ELSE’S actions; including abortion due to rape and incest (even though the statistics for this are low.) No matter how that baby was conceived, it is completely innocent. A woman is not going to get over rape or incest any faster by aborting the baby that came from it. In fact, it will compound the trauma she has already experienced. It’s understandable if she couldn’t bear to keep the baby after he/she was born, but that’s where adoption comes in. How is it not okay for a woman to be a victim of a hate crime (rape or incest), but it’s okay for a baby to be a victim of one (abortion)? How can you compensate for one hate crime with another? A woman, with the proper counseling, can overcome her rape or incest. A baby can never overcome death. THAT is the final and ultimate hate crime.
With your wrongfulness and ignorance, you use abortion to abuse the Feminist Movement and the power of women’s rights. With your wrongfulness and ignorance, you also give a woman who voluntarily took part in sex, got pregnant and doesn’t want to deal with the consequence of her action, a way out of her motherly responsibility.
And because you are so interested in feminism and the Feminist Movement, calling yourself a feminist, when indeed you are only masquerading as one; you should take the time to actually educate yourselves on these things and the people who contributed to them. Here is some information about some of the early feminists:

Susan B. Anthony: American Civil Rights Leader: Pro-Life

"Guilty? Yes. No matter what the motive, love of ease, or a desire to save from suffering the unborn innocent, the woman is awfully guilty who commits the deed. It will burden her conscience in life, it will burden her soul in death; But oh, thrice guilty is he who drove her to the desperation which impelled her to the crime!" ~ http://www.feministsforlife.org/

Elizabeth Cady Stanton: Activist/Leading Figure of the Women’s Movement: Pro-Life
"When we consider that women are treated as property, it is degrading to women that we should treat our children as property to be disposed of as we see fit."
Letter to Julia Ward Howe, October 16, 1873, recorded in Howe's diary at Harvard University Library~ http://www.feministsforlife.org/

Mattie Brinkerhoff: Suffrage Movement Leader: Pro-Life

"When a man steals to satisfy hunger, we may safely conclude that there is something wrong in society - so when a woman destroys the life of her unborn child, it is an evidence that either by education or circumstances she has been greatly wronged."
The Revolution, 4(9):138-9 September 2, 1869~ http://www.feministsforlife.org/

Victoria Woodhull: First Female Presidential Candidate: Pro-Life
"The rights of children as individuals begin while yet they remain the foetus."
Woodhull's and Claflin's Weekly 2(6):4 December 24, 1870~http://www.feministsforlife.org/
